KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemdag) menetapkan lima prioritas dari 11 perjanjian dagang yang akan diselesaikan tahun 2020 mendatang.
Antara lain adalah Perjanjian Kerja Sama Ekonomi Komperhensif Indonesia – Uni Eropa (IEU-CEPA), Perjanjian Perdagangan Preferensial Indonesia – Maroko (IM-PTA), Indonesia – Tunisia PTA, Indonesia – Bangladesh (PTA), dan Indonesia – Turki CEPA.
“Kelima ekonomi yang diprioritaskan kami anggap cukup potensial sebagai mitra dagang,” ujar Wakil Ketua Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) bidang Hubungan Internasional Shinta Widjaja Kamdani saat dihubungi Kontan.co.id, Minggu (10/11).
Kelima negara tersebut memiliki kondisi ekonomi yang baik. Menurut Shinta, Uni Eropa harus menjadi prioritas utama untuk mengejar sejumlah ketertinggalan.
Sementara Bangladesh saat ini juga tengah mengalami lonjakan ekonomi. Selain itu industri manufaktur yang belum banyak di Bangladesh menjadi potensi tersendiri.
“Sangat potensial untuk mengekspansi ekspor produk manufaktur kita ke Bangladesh bila kita punya perjanjian dagang dengan mereka,” terang Shinta.
Turki juga dinilai memiliki potensi dalam perjanjian dagang. Termasuk untuk menggenjot ekspor produk minyak sawit mentah (CPO) Indonesia.
Sebelumnya Malaysia telah memiliki perjanjian terlebih dahulu dengan Turki sehingga unggul secara daya saing. Padahal pasar Turki penting untuk Asia Tengah, Eropa Timur, dan Timur tengah.
Dua negara lainnya yaitu Maroko dan Tunisia diperlukan kehati-hatian. Pasalnya kedua negara tersebut memiliki ekonomi dan hasil industri yang mirip dengan Indonesia.
“Perlu hati-hati dalam menyusun perjanjian perdagangan dengan kedua negara ini untuk memastikan bahwa perdagangan kita bisa win-win,” jelas Shinta.
