KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Pemerintah menargetkan 11 perjanjian dagang selesai pada tahun 2020. Dari target tersebut terdapat prioritas yang akan diselesaikan. Antara lain ada lima perjanjian dagang yang menjadi prioritas untuk diselesaikan tahun 2020.
Lima prioritas tersebut adalah Perjanjian Kerja Sama Ekonomi Komperhensif Indonesia – Uni Eropa (IEU-CEPA), Perjanjian Perdagangan Preferensial Indonesia – Maroko (IM-PTA), Indonesia – Tunisia PTA, Indonesia – Bangladesh (PTA), dan Indonesia – Turki CEPA.
“Indonesia EU CEPA itu sangat prioritas sekali atas saran Presiden yang harus diselesaikan sebelum akhir 2020,” ujar Wakil Menteri Perdagangan Jerry Sambuaga saat konferensi pers, Jumat (8/11).
Guna mencapai target tersebut, Kemdag akan melakukan sejumlah perundingan. Jerry bilang akan ada sejumlah pertemuan baik di dalam negeri mau pun di luar negeri untuk mempercepat perundingan.
Pertemuan juga dilakukan untuk mempercepat proses final dalam kesepakatan. Semakin cepat perjanjian selesai, pemanfaatan perjanjian dagang juga lebih cepat dilakukan.
“Pertemuan untuk menguatkan dan memfinalkan poin agreement yang belum disepakati,” terang Jerry.
Sebelumnya Indonesia telah menyelesaikan sejumlah perjanjian dagang. Salah satunya adalah Indonesia – Australia CEPA yang tengah masuk dalam proses ratifikasi dan diperkirakan selesai sebelum akhir tahun.
Sementara itu Kerja Sama Ekonomi Komprehensif Regional (RCEP) juga direncanakan rampung ditandatangani tahun 2020 mendatang berdasarkan kesepakatan 15 negara anggota RCEP dalam pertemuan lalu.
