JAKARTA, investor.id – Indonesia dan Uni Eropa terus melanjutkan pembahasan perjanjian dagang Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), yang saat ini sudah memasuki putaran kesembilan. Direktur Perundingan Bilateral Kementerian Perdagangan Ni Made Ayu Marthini mengatakan, jika pembahasan berjalan lancar maka IEU-CEPA bisa segera rampung pertengahan tahun depan dalam bentuk substantive conclusion. IEU-CEPA memang perjanjian dagang yang paling ditunggu terutama oleh pelaku usaha Indonesia karena bisa memperluas akses pasar ekspor. Pelaku usaha yang terus mendesak agar IEU-CEPA diselesaikan adalah pelaku usaha tekstil dan perikanan, pembahasan IEU-CEPA memang memakan waktu yang cukup lama karena banyak hal yang harus dibahas. Beberapa hal yang dibahas adalah mengenai investasi, tarif bea masuk dan yang paling rumit adalah pembahasan mengenai sawit Indonesia. Uni Eropa masih menganggap sawit Indonesia tidak ramah lingkungan dan pemerintah terus melobinya. “ Kami akui IEU-CEPA sangat rumit karena banyak hal yang dibahas jadi memakan waktu yang cukup lama,” ujar dia kepada Investor Daily, di Jakarta, Senin (30/9). Ia mengatakan pemerintah Indonesia tetap mempunyai target, IEU-CEPA harus rampung tahun depan karena kalau tertunda maka akan merugikan dunia usaha. Dalam melakukan pembahasan, Indonesia sudah menyiapkan beberapa tim yang berkualitas yang ikut memberikan kontribusi. Selain IEU-CEPA yang masih dibahas, Kemendag sudah menyelesaikan beberapa perjanjian dagang seperti Indonesia-Mozambik Preferential Trade Agreement dan Indonesia-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IC-CEPA). Kemendag memang bertanggung jawab untuk memperbanyak perjanjian dagang dan sudah termasuk amanah yang diberikan Presiden Jokowi. Ia mengatakan pihaknya juga terus melakukan sosialisasi kepada pengusaha tidak hanya di pusat tetapi juga di daerah, pengusaha daerah juga harus mengetahui manfaat FTA bagi bisnis mereka. “Sosialisasi FTA juga terus kami lakukan dan kami juga sudah membuka FTA center di beberapa kota,” ujar dia. Ia menjelaskan IEU-CEPA rampung maka Indonesia akan semakin berdaya saing dan memberikan nilai tambah bagi ekonomi. Sumber : Investor Daily
